Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology
I have the Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT Mobility #13695) as granted by The PSYPACT Commission.
I also maintain an active E.Passport credential from the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards (ASPPB). The E.Passport facilitates the process for licensed psychologists to practice telepsychology across state lines — in states that have enacted PSYPACT legislation — without obtaining additional licenses.
What is PSYPACT?
In the United States, PSYPACT is an interstate compact which offers a pathway for qualified psychologists who wish to practice in multiple states.
PSYPACT is designed to facilitate the practice of telepsychology across state boundaries. In order to practice telepsychology in PSYPACT states, only psychologists licensed in PSYPACT states can apply for an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT). More information regarding PSYPACT and its requirements can be found at www.psypact.org.
